Volunteers Needed: Christmas Meal Service for Homeless Women

Angeline’s Day Center

Help YWCA make the holidays a little brighter for the women we serve! Volunteer at our Angeline's Day Center and help serve a hot Christmas meal to women experiencing homelessness.

Our Angeline's Day Center provides a safe space for women experiencing homelessness to shower, do laundry, get a hot meal, and take a break. We are seeking volunteers to help us set up and serve hot Christmas meals on December 25th from 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Angeline's meal service looks a little different on special days, and volunteers will assist by serving plates to the women at the table. In addition to helping us serve food, volunteers may also help by decorating tables and leading activities such as bingo, board games, crafting, cookie decorating, and more if you have a fun idea in mind! (Please note, volunteers are asked to provide items/supplies for activities).

This opportunity will be in a kitchen environment and volunteers will want to wear comfortable clothes and non slip shoes. Open to adult volunteers and families with children ages 14 and up. Open to adults and families with children ages 14 and up (youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

Sign up today and help make the holidays a little brighter for the women we serve.
