A free educational home visiting program for families with children between the age 16 months to 3 years old.

Help your child learn through play! YWCA's Parent Child + offers the opportunity to bring school readiness to your child in the comfort of your own home.

Did you know:
     ●   You are your child’s first and most important teacher.
     ●   Your home is your child’s first classroom.
     ●   Children learn best though play.
     ●   Reading and talking with your child in your home language helps prepare them to succeed in school.

What we do:
Every week, Parent Child + will provide your child with a free high-quality book or educational toy every week to help enhance their learning — at least 46 new books and toys! Our trained community-based Early Learning Specialists will visit your home twice a week for 30 minutes to help you get your child ready for school. You will learn creative ways to read and play with your child, and ways to prepare your child to be successful in school.

Parents or caregivers can request an Early Learning Specialist who speaks the language they use at home.

Eligibility & Enrollment

     ●   Parents or caregivers must be available for each visit and actively participate.
     ●   Families must commit to two 30-minute visits per week.
     ●   Participants must provide a safe and consistent space in their home for visits.
