Donor Tour at Family Village Redmond

Family Village Redmond

Join us at Family Village Redmond and learn about YWCA's housing programs and the vital need for permanent stable housing in our community.

Join us for a small donor tour hosted at Family Village Redmond (FVR), one of our permanent supportive housing sights in King County, on Thursday, May 30th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Located in downtown Redmond, YWCA’s Family Village Redmond provides 20 units of permanent, supportive housing to families with children. We know that access to stable housing leads to long-term stability for families, yet the supply of affordable, permanent housing on the Eastside and throughout our state is extremely limited. Family Village Redmond takes on the challenge and provides relief and support for those who make FVR their home. All residents have access to YWCA’s culturally specific, individualized support to navigate barriers to housing stability and economic independence. This includes:

  • Referrals to employment training
  • Job search support
  • Transportation resources
  • Food bank vouchers
  • Assistance with applications for benefits
  •  FVR also houses Working Wardrobe and offers Basic Food and Employment Training

We are thrilled that Norma Moore, Family Village Redmond’s Housing and Services Manager, and her team will share their expertise on this YWCA location and its program offerings.

Space is limited for this tour, so to attend, please RSVP as soon as possible! Please send your RSVP request to: development@ywcaworks.org
