YWCA’s Family Village Redmond offers 20 units of permanent supportive housing to families.

Built in 1993 and located in downtown Redmond, YWCA’s Family Village Redmond provides a variety of programs ranging from daycare, housing, and parent workshops.

  • Early Learning Center & Head Start – Affordable, high-quality child care for the greater Redmond community and Family Village residents, serving children 2 months to 5 years old.
  • Working Wardrobe – Provides low-income or homeless women and men with work-appropriate clothing for an interview or a new job.
  • Basic Food & Employment Training Program – Job search, training and placement services for eligible food stamp recipients.
  • Employment & Housing Stability Program – Helps families rise out of homelessness and prevents others from losing their homes through stable jobs and housing.

YWCA’s Homeless Employment Program, provides people experiencing homelessness or people who are at risk of homelessness with a full range of individualized employment and support services needed to achieve self-sufficiency and stable housing.
Offering free, business-appropriate attire to women experiencing homelessness in need of clothing for interviews or new jobs.
YWCA's employment and job training program for low-income adults on the Eastside. Through case management, participants get the tools and resources to support them to secure a living wage job, build financial stability, and find economic empowerment.
Offers reduced costs on public transit fares for income-qualified riders in Seattle and King County. YWCA enrollment will end in December.  
High-quality child care and Head Start program for preschoolers, located at YWCA's Family Village Redmond. Offers a safe, supportive, and multi-cultural environment for children, designed to nurture learning and growth, while preparing them for kindergarten.
