Volunteers Needed: Help Count The Unhoused

Once a year, volunteers assemble to help the community assess how many people are living unhoused. Help us with the Point-In-Time Count and support the effort!

Join us on January 27 at Verdant Health in Lynnwood and volunteer for the annual Point-In-Time Count. The Point-In-Time Count, or PIT Count, is a yearly event where folks assemble to help count the number of people experiencing homelessness in a particular area. The information gathered from these counts helps the community understand the scope of homelessness which can influence funding, resources, and policy.

YWCA is looking for volunteers to help collect data, share surveys, and pass out resources. Shifts will occur between 9:30am and 7:00pm. Onsite training and light refreshments will be provided. Please email tnixon@ywcaworks.org if you have any questions.
