Angela Poe Russell
Some of our supporters might already be familiar with Angela's past work as the emcee for YWCA's annual Inspire Luncheon, but Angela has a considerable amount of other experiences under her belt too. She has an extensive history in television, working as an on air host, reporter, anchor and screenwriter for organizations such as Bonneville International, KING 5, the Lifetime Television Network, KIRO TV, CBS Philadelphia, and WJLA-TV. Recently, she added the role of playwright to her background after debuting a new musical Aviatrix at Seattle Public Theater. As a strategic and innovative communications leader, Gracie & Emmy Award winner, and playwright, Angela brings her passion for storytelling, collaboration, and her ability to form connections through all types of mediums to our Board of Directors.

Tina Ragen
As a Seattle native and UW graduate, Tina has deep roots in our region. After wearing many hats working for a local manufacturing company, she moved into investment and real estate management—a field she continues to work in today. Tina has been active in political fundraising and was previously a member of the Northwest School Board of Trustees for over nine years, during which she served on its Finance, Investment (past chair), Campus Master Plan, and Executive Committees. She served for eight years as a member then as chair of the UW Honors Program Advisory Board, and she currently is a member of the Advisory Board of The Meany Center for Performing Arts. Tina seeks to engage with and learn more about the community, and she has been a decades-long supporter of the YWCA. Her passions include education, wellness in its many forms, and equal access and opportunity to both.
