We are thrilled to announce keynote speaker Misty Copeland will join us in person at YWCA's 2023 Inspire Luncheon on September 14, 2023 at The Westin Seattle!

Misty Copeland is a Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, the first Black woman to be promoted to the position in the company's 75-year history in 2015. She is an avid philanthropist and in 2022, she launched The Misty Copeland Foundation, with its first signature program BE BOLD, which aims to bring greater diversity, equity, and inclusion to dance, especially ballet.

Misty is also an ambassador and alum of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Mind Leaps, a Rwanda-based arts program that helps young people get off the streets and into an academic setting to help enhance their lives. She is a New York Times bestselling author of several books, and in 2021, Misty received the Spingarn Medal, the NAACP’s highest honor.

Mark your calendars and join us for an afternoon with Misty Copeland on September 14.

Funds raised from ticket sales and donations help YWCA continue to provide and expand programs that reduce disparities based on race, gender, sexual orientation, and economic status; increase economic opportunities, and improve health and safety for women, children, and families.
