YWCA School Days

YWCA School Days

Phillis Wheatley Branch, Somerset Village Apartments

Summary
Partner with YWCA to promote education and help families! YWCA School Days will help over 1,800 students start the upcoming school year with backpacks full of new school supplies.
Enrollment is now closed. Please contact Vicki Dorway in Snohomish County and Nichelle Hilton in King County for more information.

Every year, with generous donations from our supporters, YWCA provides nearly 2,000 backpacks of school supplies to every child in our programs, from kindergarteners all the way to high school seniors. This year we need your help!

To provide one or more backpacks, all you need to do is pick a grade level, purchase a brand new backpack, and fill it with school supplies. We accept both gender-specific and gender-neutral backpacks and school supplies. Most stores will have lists of recommended school supplies by grade level.

We are always short on cool teen backpacks and pink backpacks for younger children. Help arm students with the tools to learn and help them be ready to take on the year!
