The Black Panther Party is well-known for its work during the Civil Rights era, but few people remember or acknowledge the women within its ranks. In honor of Women's History month, learn about Seattle's history with the Black Panthers and how women helped cement its lasting legacy.

Immigration has a long history on a local and national level, and many of the current anti-immigrant policies we see today are echoes of the exclusionary and racist policies we have seen in the past.

We held our 2025 Inspire Luncheon on September 18 with over 900 guests and livestream attendees. With your support, we were able to raise $1,471,438 in support of YWCA programs that help women and families across King and Snohomish county.
