Comcast Tech Literacy Lab
Thanks to a $30,000 grant from Comcast, the WorkSource Downtown Seattle located in YWCA Opportunity Place will have new computers and digital literacy classes for low-income job seekers. This initiative was designed in partnership with Millionair Club, with additional funding from United Way of King County.

Job search assistance at WorkSource downtown Seattle

Resources for job seekers include job postings, job search computers, resume and interview skills workshops, computer skills training, and employer events. Intensive services also includes one on one meetings with Employment Specialists, case managment, ABE, GED and ESL instruction, and funding for vocational training.

This site hosts an average of 3,600 visits per month from more than 1,000 individuals and has a 94-percent customer satisfaction rate.
