2020 Inspire Luncheon - Snohomish County

2020 Inspire Luncheon - Snohomish County

Summary
Attend our Inspire Luncheons and join thousands of community members in experiencing stories of strength and perseverance from women who have overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Hear the stories of YWCA program participants who share how barriers like homelessness, domestic violence, joblessness, or inequity are transformed through donor-funded programs and services. Past Luncheon keynote speakers have included Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Viola Davis, and Alfre Woodard.

Funds raised help YWCA continue to provide and expand programs that reduce disparities based on race, gender, sexual orientation, and economic status; increase economic opportunities, and improve health and safety for women, children, and families.

Your participation at our Luncheons makes all of this possible.

How to Support Domestic Violence Survivors

October 18, 2019 Blog Post
It’s National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and YWCA is taking a stand. The domestic violence (DV) program at YWCA works to support survivors that have experienced gender-based violence to overcome their trauma and barriers and to empower them to take back their self-autonomy. We would like to invite our community to spread awareness of gender-based violence and support survivors with YWCA.
