YWCA Women's Health Outreach helps link women to culturally appropriate women’s health care, including:
- Free or low-cost mammograms, pap tests and breast exams
- Referrals to quality women's health care at local community health clinics
- Outreach to low-income and medically under-served populations specifically in the African-American, Lesbian/Bisexual, Russian/Ukrainian and Latina communities
Mobile health screenings
YWCA Women's Health Outreach performs mobile health care screenings with the Swedish Breast Care Express, a 64-foot coach equipped with state of the art digital mammography screening equipment, as well as exam rooms and a waiting area. Eligible women interested in receiving services at an upcoming mobile health care screening must call the program coordinator (listed below) to set up an appointment time.
