Homeless Intervention Program (HIP) Orientation
HIP is an Employment and Job Training program that helps homeless individuals find and maintain full-time employment through job counseling, case management and paid training. If you are homeless and motivated to work full-time, come to our orientation for assistance with job search, retention, training and education, work clothing and tools.

Open Lab
Do you have a lot of computer questions that you need answered? This open computer lab will allow you to get one-on-one assistance with posting a resume online, applying for jobs online, signing up for an email account and more! (This is not a basic skills class. If you need basic computer skills, please refer to Beginning Computer or Beginning Internet class.)

Computer Assisted Job Search
Learn how to make a difference in your job search with today's new technology. At the end of this workshop you will be able to change your resume to text only format, post your resume on the Internet, email your resume to employers and use other career tools. Word Fundamentals (2 days)
Learn the use of a word processor to write and revise a variety of personal and business documents: from simple letters and memos to complex layouts containing graphics and tables. Pre-requisite: You must know how to use a keyboard and mouse. You must have also attended Beginning PC Skills or have intermediate computer skills before taking this course.

Excel Fundamentals (2 days)
Learn the basics of spreadsheet practices, including: creating worksheets, editing data, building charts and graphs. Pre-requisite: You must know how to use a keyboard and mouse. You must also have attended Word Fundamentals or have intermediate computer skills before taking this class.

Interview Skills
Need to brush up on your interviewing skills? In this workshop you will practice responding to typical interview questions and begin the necessary preparation to ace a job interview.
