Twenty percent of King County residents cannot afford the basic necessities of life such as food, shelter, medical care and transportation.
YWCA employment programs help women, men and youth throughout King and Snohomish counties obtain gainful employment, earn a livable wage and achieve self-sufficiency. We help clients find, retain and progress in rewarding jobs and careers by focusing on the following key areas:
- In-depth case management support
- Occupational and soft-skills training
- Internships and other structured work experiences
- Job retention and wage progression services
