Working Zone

Program Overview
The Working Zone is committed to helping homeless youth address barriers to housing and employment. We provide employment training and experience and build meaningful relationships that promote continuity of services and self-sufficiency. We offer:

  • Job skills & life skills training
  • Exposure to career and educational opportunities
  • Stabilization in collaboration with services in the community
  • Assistance finding safe and adequate housing
  • Paid internships and employment skills training at one of the following: The Zine Project, The Tile Project, Seattle Youth Garden Works
  • Access to the Working Zone Job Center to receive help with resume building, job applications, interview preparation and more
  • Assistance obtaining ID, medical coupons and other necessary services

Eligibility
Working Zone participants are:

  1. Out-of-home youth ages 15-21
