Program Overview
The YWCA operates Career Development Centers at Greenbridge/Park Lake Homes and Coronado Springs in the White Center community. Services are geared toward helping South King County residents get the education, skills and support they need to find and maintain gainful employment. We offer:
- Access to a job bank with computers, Internet service and job leads
- Job placement assistance and retention services for six (6) months
- Onsite G.E.D., E.S.L. and basic skills courses in partnership with Highline Community College
- Onsite computer education center that includes individualized instruction
- Referral to short-term training programs
Eligibility
- Job bank services and courses are available to the public.
- Job placement services are available to Greenbridge/Park Lake Homes residents and recipients of King County Section 8 Housing ONLY.
