Program Overview
These programs help residents of East King County prepare for and find gainful employment. We offer:
- Individualized job search assistance
- Assistance writing resumes and cover letters
- Interview practice
- Workshops and coaching on various job search topics
- A resource room that provides Internet access, job postings, telephones and reference materials
- Training and educational program referrals
- Access to the YWCA Working Wardrobe to obtain interview-appropriate clothing
- The services of an Employment Specialist who is available to meet at the YWCA Family Village in Redmond, Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland, or the WorkSource in Redmond
Eligibility
YWCA Eastside Employment Services are available to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Over 18 years of age
- Low to moderate income status
- Residents of East King County
