Passage Point

People who are released into the community from the corrections system often face monumental challenges to live their lives successfully. Their criminal history combined with other issues, such as a history of family violence or chemical dependency, make it difficult for them to re-enter society. Many are unable to overcome these challenges and wind up homeless or reoffend and return to prison.

YWCA Passage Point is an innovative program designed to help parents re-enter the community and reunite with their children. It is part of King County’s 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness.Below are links to helpful resources about homelessness and/or other community re-entry programs:
