Passage Point

get involved: There are many ways you can help YWCA end homelessness and give families a new beginning. As a supporter of YWCA Passage Point, you can be assured that your investment will make a difference to these families in transition and the community as a whole.

How you can help:

  • Make an in-kind donation. YWCA Passage Point provides furnished apartments so residents can focus on healing and recovery. We currently accept donations of new household items. Feeling creative? Consider hosting a community drive to gather needed supplies for residents. Or if you would like to make a longer-term commitment, consider “adopting” a unit and help one family become self-sufficient with your support of donations of household goods throughout the year. Please view our  wish list of our most current needs. We also benefit from the YWCA’s annual School Days drive and Adopt-a-Family holiday drive.
  • Make a financial contribution. It is through generous financial gifts that allow Passage Point to provide the support network to residents and their families. Make a donation today or find out more about how your financial gift will change lives. Donations may be designated for a specific program, including Passage Point, or left unrestricted.
  • Support Passage Point through your company. Contact Shoko Toyama at 206.461.4471 or, to find out about workplace giving.
  • Volunteer at Passage Point. Volunteers are an important part of Passage Point’s success! Whether you are looking for a short-term project or long-term assignment, we will find an opportunity that inspires you.
  • Become an advocate for change. Ending homelessness does not start with one person - it begins with a whole community that cares. Educate yourself and others on homelessness and issues individuals face in Washington. Check out our public policy headquarters for more legislative news and information.
