Helps families move away from welfare and find unsubsidized employment with internships and job training.
Community jobs and other work-supported programs provide on-the-job training through internships at government and non-profit agencies. An Employment and Training Specialist works with families to help them build the necessary skills to reach economic empowerment.
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently reeiving TANF (Temporary Aid for Needy Families) and obtain a referral directly from a DSHS-WorkFirst Program Specialist.
