The YWCA was named best nonprofit in the Renton Reporter's recent "Best of Renton 2013" issue! We are proud our staff and programs located at the South King County Regional Center, which offers a career center, counseling services, community meeting space and more.

Screening of "American Winter", June 18
Attend a free screening of AMERICAN WINTER, a new documentary following eight families struggling in the wake of the economic downturn. Shot in Portland, Oregon, this powerful film reveals the human impact of budget cuts to social services, rising poverty and economic inequality and the fracturing of the American Dream. Co-sponsored by the YWCA.

Rainbow Women's Health Fair, June 29
Hosted by Women's Health Outreach, there will be a wide variety of health and wellness services for all lesbian, bisexual and queer women, genderqueer and transgender people: acupuncture, pet therapy, health screening, mammograms, Pap tests and more! Held during Pride Weekend from noon to 4 p.m. at the All Pilgrim's Church (500 Broadway E, Seattle).
