rapid re-housing for homeless families:

Moves families from shelter to permanent housing, minimizing the trauma of homelessness on parents and children.

Rapid Re-Housing for Homeless Families (RRHF) is a pilot program in King County operated through Family Housing Connection. To minimize the trauma of homelessness on families living in shelter, this new service model focuses on moving families to permanent housing first, then providing services.

Participating families receive housing relocation, stabilization services and financial assistance. Additional services, including employment assistance, are offered after permanent housing is found.

Referrals to the RRHF program must come through Family Housing Connection, King County's coordinated entry provider.
